CBeebies Creates Dedicated Big and Small Website

LONDON, December 5:
CBeebies has tapped Plug-in Media and Kindle Entertainment to deliver a 3-D
website for the top-rated kids' show Big
and Small.

The
website was built using Papervision3D, the latest innovation in delivering 3-D
on the web. The environment has been created to look and feel exactly like the
inside of Big and Small's house that children see on the television. Animated
versions of the show's main characters are embedded into the 3-D environment
responding to the user's interaction. In December and January, the house will
be extended further with new rooms and more games.

Big and Small follows two best friends
who are opposites in every way. Big is gentle, thoughtful and understanding. He
is a very loyal friend. Small is exuberant and loud. He acts first and thinks
later. The show first launched on CBeebies in October.
