ALL3MEDIA Notches Up Asian Deals

LONDON,
November 25: Just ahead of the Asia TV Forum, ALL3MEDIA International has
secured a number of agreements in Asia on its factual documentaries and
entertainment, children's fare and drama.

Fox
India picked up three Lion Television productions: Spy Tools, which looks at the gadgets used by secret agents; The Great Wall and The Secrets of the Forbidden City, which both combine the styles of
a documentary and a dramatization to look at ancient China.

True
Vision in Thailand took on a raft of factual-entertainment titles, including Wa$ted, which looks at how households
can save money as well as the environment. Also in the package were the
long-running Lion Man series,
following the ups and downs of life at the Zion Wildlife Gardens, and Serious Arctic, following a trip for a group of
children to the Canadian High Arctic for survival training and help with
conservation projects.

EBS
in Korea acquired the BBC-produced Around
the World in 80 Gardens
, looking at different gardens around the globe, as
well as the Company Pictures drama Wild
at Heart
, which follows a family that starts a new life on a game park in
Africa. Also from Company Pictures, the fictional drama The Palace, about a reckless royal family, went to True Vision.
Phoenix TV in China took on Company's Russian classic Anna Karenina, a tragic love story set in revolution Russia.

Agent
OPTL snapped up the Southeast Asian, including India, rights for The Orange
British Academy Film Awards and BAFTA's The Brittania Awards.

Stephen
Driscoll, the VP of international
sales for ALL3MEDIA International, said: "Demand for programming from the
Asia region has been very strong since MIPCOM; we are hopeful for more deals at
the ATF, particularly for our new launches such as Rachel Allen's Bake, the kids factual food/science show Gastronuts and the beach fact-ent
adventure Bondi Rescue: Bali."
