Beyond Bags Pickups for Rania: The YouTube Queen

SYDNEY, October 29: Beyond
Distribution has closed sales on Rania:
The YouTube Queen, a one-hour documentary that looks at Queen Rania of
Jordan as she discusses the Muslim faith using her own YouTube channel.

TV2 Norway and VTM Belgium
have picked up the HD doc, produced by Rockhopper TV for BBC World News. The
project follows Queen Rania of Jordan as she prepares to engage in discussion
about some of the issues of the Muslim faith by launching a YouTube channel on
the Internet.

Yvonne Body, the head of
acquisitions and co-productions for Beyond Distribution, said, “Beyond is proud
to be representing this highly topical documentary, which aroused great
interest ahead of its MIPCOM launch. We are delighted to be forging a
relationship with Rockhopper TV to bring their socially relevant documentaries
to a wide audience.”
