ALL3MEDIA Preps Dramas for MIPCOM

LONDON, September 24: A
diverse array of drama programming will be available to buyers from independent
television distributor ALL3MEDIA International at MIPCOM.

Programming includes Raw, from Ecosse Films and Octagon Films, which
follows chef JoJo, who loves the camaraderie and the intense adrenaline buzz of
life in the kitchen as true friendships and bitter rivalries are forged, but
her brother Shane’s arrival is just one factor that sets in motion a chain of
events that nobody could have predicted.

Martin Shaw (Judge John
Deed
) stars as Father Jacob in Apparitions, a new white-knuckle supernatural series from Lime
Pictures for BBC One in the U.K. Shaw also stars as hardened detective George Gently in a second program from Company Pictures for BBC One. Having swapped his
life in London for the sleepy hills of Northumberland, Gently continues solving
crimes, bringing his sense of justice to the rugged landscapes of northern
England.

Diplomatic Immunity from South Pacific Pictures for TVNZ in New
Zealand is about a fallen foreign affairs high-flyer trying to rebuild his
career while working at the consulate of the Most Royal Kingdom of Fe’ausi.
However, his staff has other plans. This show comes from South Pacific
Pictures, the producers of Outrageous Fortune, an ongoing drama about a family of criminals
attempting life on the straight and narrow. It has recently been optioned as a
scripted format in various territories including the U.S., the U.K., Spain and
Italy. Go Girls, which is also
from South Pacific Pictures for TV2 in New Zealand, features three women about
to hit the age of 25 who vow that in one year they’ll fulfill their ambition to
be rich, famous and married. Diplomatic Immunity and Go Girls are also available as formats for local production.

Compulsion is a modern tale of love, sex, revenge, control,
obsession and murder from Size 9 Productions for ITV1 in the U.K. This drama
sees the arranged marriage of a rich industrialist’s daughter ignite a series
of twisted relationships, which leave the protagonists possessed by love and
hate.

Hit drama Skins returns with a third season of stories,
celebrating what teenagers really are up to. This series from Company Pictures
for E4 and Channel 4 in the U.K. introduces a new set of 16- to 17-year-olds,
resulting in a true reflection of how a group becomes a gang through hilarious
and audacious adventures.

And finally, life is
changing for the Trevanion family in the fourth season of Wild at Heart. This series from Company Pictures for ITV1
follows the highs and lows of the Trevanions as they build a life in South
Africa.
