Verizon FiOS to Provide Advanced Look at New Cheetah Girls Flick

NEW YORK, August 13:
Verizon FiOS TV is set to launch The Cheetah Girls One World on its VOD service on August 19, three days ahead
of the movie’s Disney Channel premiere.

The movie will be
presented on FiOS TV’s Disney Channel on Demand, following on an existing
partnership between the two companies that included the early debuts of Disney
Channel Games and Camp Rock. The Cheetah Girls One World, which features best friends pursing their dream
of become recording artists and starring in a Bollywood movie, will launch on
Disney Channel on August 22.

"Advance showings of
top-quality programming is another reason why FiOS TV is the ultimate
home-entertainment experience," said Shawn Strickland, the VP of video
solutions for Verizon. "We know that families are looking for this kind of
family entertainment, and we're delighted that our FiOS TV video-on-demand
customers will get a first look at this popular film, at no additional charge
and with the stunning picture-and-sound quality that FiOS is known for."
