Distraction Expands Reach in Asian Market

MONTREAL, June 5:
Distraction has secured a partnership with boutique distributor Bomanbridge
Media Limited, which will represent the Canadian-based company in Japan, Korea
and China.

Distraction will extend
its format library to Bomanbridge, which is set to open an office in Singapore
shortly, to grow its activities within the Asian market. Distraction recently
sold Dirty Rotten Cheater to
Beijing New Century Media in China and is looking to build on this for further
Asian sales.

Michel
Rodrigue, the president of Distraction, commented, “Bomanbridge’s reputable
sales history, combined with their knowledge of the Asian market, were the
deciding factors for this partnership. I am convinced that their presence in
Asia, combined with a joint sales expertise, will prove to be very successful.”

Sonia Fleck, the managing
director of Bomanbridge Media, added, "I feel this will be a great
opportunity to explore the new growth of format opportunities in South Korea,
Japan and China, while continually building on these markets ever increasing
demand for entertainment programming. We are very pleased to be associated with
such a strong brand.”
