Studio100, CBBC in Distribution Partnership

MUNICH, May 8: Studio100
Media has secured a partnership to manage the worldwide distribution rights
(excluding North and South America and the U.K.) for three CBBC programs: The
Slammer
, Trapped and Beat the Boss.

The Slammer is a comedic series, set in a jail, which is part
sitcom and part variety show. Trapped, an adventure game show with a twist, watches six children arrive at
the top of a scary tower, set in a gothic fairytale world, and compete as a
team to get to the bottom and escape. The factual entertainment format Beat
the Boss
pits three children
against three adults in a challenge to design a new product for the kids’
market.

“We are pleased to welcome
on board three fantastic formats to the S100 Media portfolio,” said Patrick
Elmendorff, the general manager of Studio100 Media. “We look forward to
distributing these very well-known shows and are confident in their success
internationally.”

“We are really delighted
to be working with Studio100 Media, who have excellent knowledge of the
children’s international market,” said Tim Morley, the head of commercial and
business affairs for CBBC. “This will further build on the relationship we have
with Studio100 in preschool programming.”
