BET Networks to Offer Content on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE

NEW YORK, April 16: BET
Networks will make a selection of its full-length television programming
available for download on Xbox LIVE, Microsoft’s online games and entertainment
network.

Effective immediately, a
growing catalogue of episodes from BET's top-rated programming will be
available for download from Xbox LIVE, including the reality show College
Hill 4, the documentary series American
Gangster and the original stand-up
comedy series Comic View. The
mixed martial arts-themed program Iron Ring will feature a free download of the premiere
episode to viewers for one full week.

Xbox LIVE Marketplace
currently offers more than 4,200 hours of entertainment content from 40-plus
studios and networks.

"This partnership is
a natural fit for our audience. African Americans and particularly BET viewers
significantly over-index in console gaming consumption," said Denmark
West, the president of digital media at BET Networks. "We are looking
forward to providing on the Xbox 360 console the BET programming our audience
has grown to love."
