Middle East Launch for JimJam

CANNES, April 9: JimJam,
the global preschool channel formed by HIT Entertainment and Chellomedia, is
set to launch in the Middle East this month on the DTH platform Showtime.

Launching April 14, the
channel will air 12 hours a day across the Middle East and North Africa with
several titles dubbed into Arabic. The channel’s lineup, targeting kids 1 to 6,
includes titles like Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder.
Announcing the new carriage deal, Wayne Dunsford, the general manager of JimJam,
noted: “The take-up of the channel has been phenomenal and we’re looking
forward to making further announcements regarding our ever-growing reach in the
coming weeks.”
