Breakthrough Clinches Movie Deal with Hallmark

TORONTO, March 31:
Breakthrough Entertainment has licensed three TV movies to Hallmark Channel for
broadcast this year in the U.K., Ireland, Asia, Australia, Hungary, Romania and
Poland.

The deal includes the
features The Road to Christmas,
Absolution and Cradle of
Lies, all produced by Blueprint
Entertainment for Lifetime in the U.S. and Global TV in Canada. “This is our
first acquisition deal with Breakthrough Entertainment and we are delighted to
have secured the rights for these great titles, which will broadcast on both
the Hallmark Channel and Movies 24 and will be perfect for our discerning
audiences,” said Mark Lawrence, the director of global acquisitions at NBC
Universal Global Networks.
