Solid, BlueFrontier.tv to Distribute Jules Verne Series

ENCINO, March 12: Solid
Entertainment has joined forces with BlueFrontier.tv to distribute Jules
Verne Adventures
, a 7×1-hour
documentary series that mixes adventure and exploration of some of the world’s
great mysteries.

The seven episodes that
make up this package of films include EXPLORERS: From Titanic to the Moon, which sees the Academy Award-winning filmmaker
James Cameron explore the ocean’s mysteries, and Buzz Aldrin, the second man to
set foot on the Moon, examine the galaxy’s farthest destinations. Also
available in the package are Devil’s Island: Journey into Jungle Alcatraz, featuring the story behind the ruins of one of
the most infamous penal colonies in modern history, and Whales of Atlantis:
In Search of Moby Dick
,
highlighting the whale sanctuary of the Azores Archipelago. Meanwhile, episodes
like Amazon Trek: In Search of Vanishing Secrets cover the lost civilization of the Maracas
Indians, while 100 Years Under the Sea: Shipwrecks of the Caribbean retraces the day that Jules Verne’s crew became
the only ship to survive the 1902 eruption of Martinique’s Mount Pelee.
Rounding out the package is Red & White—Gone with the West and, for DVD rights only, The Secret Life of
Hippos
.
