Cuppa Coffee Secures New Deals for Bruno

TORONTO, February 26:
Canada’s Cuppa Coffee Studios has inked new sales for its preschool series Bruno
and the Banana Bunch
, including
broadcast deals with
Nickelodeon Holland and VOOM HD Networks’ Animania in the U.S.

Additionally, Dutch video
publisher Memphis Belle has picked up the video rights to the series, with a
U.S. DVD offer pending. North American sales are helmed by Cuppa Coffee’s
president and executive producer, Adam Shaheen, while international sales are
brokered through Julie Fox from AWOL, based in Paris.

A third season of Bruno
and the Banana Bunch
is now
gearing up for production. The first season of Bruno was comprised of 50×1-minute interstitials that
found an audience in more than 80 countries. Season two saw a change in name
and structure as Bruno and The Banana Bunch launched with a new 26×11-minute format.
