APA International Offers Up Mafalda

MIAMI, December 12: APA International Film is heading to
NATPE with the animated kids’ property Mafalda, based on a popular Argentine comic strip, as well as the new series Historias
de Trenes
.

Mafalda originated in
1962 in the Buenos Aires newspaper El Mundo and the comic strip was subsequently translated into
a range of languages, including English, Italian, French, German and Japanese.
The series is being offered up with new music and effects and has been
digitally remastered.

APA, headed up by Rafael Fusaro as president, is also
showcasing Historias de Trenes, a
co-production with Creativos Promotores and Television Española that looks at
trains from around the world, including Spain, Portugal, Russia, Peru,
Australia and South Africa.
