India’s NDTV Launches English-Language Channels in Singapore

SINGAPORE, October 31: Indian
broadcaster New Delhi Television (NDTV) will launch its two 24-hour flagship
English-language channels—NDTV 24×7 and NDTV Profit—in Singapore on
SingTel’s new pay-TV platform, mioTV.

The new channels will be
available on mioTV starting tomorrow. NDTV 24×7 is an English-language news
channel that aims to provide up-to-date news for the Indian expatriate
community in Singapore, as well as others interested in the developments in
India. The channel produces original content such as documentaries and special
reports and showcases award-winning programs like We the People and The Big Fight.

NDTV Profit is an English-language business news channel that
has a large number of journalists covering the action from the Bombay Stock
Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The channel also covers
the latest business deals and financial reports.

NDTV 24X7 is available on
a monthly basis at S$8.56 per month or on a twelve-month basis at S$6.42 per
month. NDTV Profit is available on a monthly basis at S$6.42 per month or on a
twelve-month basis at S$5.35 per month. The prices are based on a-la-carte fees
and are inclusive of the GST.

inexpensive access to our channels.”
