Included among
the 20-plus Chinese companies that have expressed interest in Amazia 2008 are
CCTV, Beijing TV, Greater China Media and Entertainment, Guangzhou Beauty
Culture, Star-DTV and Films and China Movie Channel. Earlier this month,
China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and the
Shanghai Media Group (SMG) expressed their support for Amazia.

of the world, other companies who have confirmed their presence at Amazia

Organized by
Reed MIDEM, Amazia is the first Asian business-to-business exhibition and
conference event devoted to the creation and distribution of international
entertainment content across all delivery platforms. In addition to the
exhibition and conferences, Amazia will offer four days of content and platform
showcases, numerous special events and networking services. From November 17 to
18, Amazia will host the Entertainment Leadership Summit, a two-day think-tank
bringing together speakers from across the Asian and international
entertainment industries.

"The
reaction to Amazia has been excellent and confirms that there is a real
interest in the remarkable Asian television, music and gaming sectors, and in
the idea of bringing together these different entertainment strands with the
multitude of content distribution platforms at a single, international
event," said Franz Caduc, the director of Amazia.
