MTV to Premiere Mobile Feature-Length Film on Multiple Platforms

NEW YORK, June 19: MTV will premiere its first-ever mobile
feature-length film Super Sweet 16: The Movie on the mobile television entertainment service FLO TV and on Comcast On
Demand prior to the linear network premiere on July 8 at 2 p.m.

Before its mobile premiere, the 86-minute film is available
as of today exclusively on Comcast On Demand for $2.99, through July 7. In
addition, Comcast On Demand will feature free and exclusive content such as
five originally produced “Best of My Super Sweet 16” segments, a
behind-the-scenes trailer on the making of the movie, and classic episodes from
My Super Sweet 16, the hit MTV series on
which the movie is based.

The movie’s mobile premiere is on June 29 through FLO TV,
available through the Verizon Wireless V CAST Mobile TV service. The movie will
then be available as a DVD for purchase through Paramount Home Entertainment on
July 10, two days after airing on MTV. The two-disc edition of the first two
seasons of My Super Sweet 16 will also
be available for DVD purchase on July 10.

Super Sweet 16: The Movie tells the story of two best friends, Nicole and Jacquie, who share the
same birthday and have been planning a joint sweet sixteen party ever since
they were kids. However, as they set out to plan the most elaborate Sweet 16
party ever, tensions mount and their life-long friendship, as well as their
plan to do a joint Sweet 16 party, fall by the wayside. The movie also stars
pop artists Aly & AJ, as well as Regine Nehy (Pride), Shanica Knowles (Hannah Montana and Jump In) and Brendan Miller (Accepted). It also features performances by Paula DeAnda, Pretty Ricky,
Hellogoodbye and other musical artists.

The new season of My Super Sweet 16 premieres on Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m. on MTV.
