Distraction to Bring Global Entertainment News Format to MIPTV

LONDON, April 3: Distraction will bring the global
entertainment news format E-Mix to MIPTV
this month, offering subscriptions for weekly half-hour episodes or more
flexible packages for a mix of weekly episodes as well as short segments.

E-Mix can be tailored
for the specific needs of different territories, with the short segments
covering everything from Hollywood to Bollywood, music to TV and film
stars to media moguls. The format is a complete, up-to-the minute compilation
of the latest entertainment news from all over the world with the weekly half
hour E-Mix covering international
VIP award ceremonies, film premieres, exclusive interviews and important media
news. E-Mix will be reporting
from the MIPTV market in Cannes.

E-Mix is our
response to what the marketplace had to tell us about entertainment news,”
commented Michel Rodrigue, the CEO of Distraction. “Buyers have told us that
they like the idea of a subscription entertainment show but that they would
prefer a more international slant. Viewers also want more than just Hollywood
footage, they want news that means something to them. We’re readjusting the
brand precisely because of market-place reaction.”
