Venevision International Launches New Wireless Business Unit

MIAMI, March 22: Venevision International has launched
Venemobile, a new business unit focused on providing Spanish-language wireless
entertainment.

Venevision will provide content
for the wireless phone market worldwide, in particular the U.S. Hispanic
market, including TV and film clips, photographs and wallpapers, ring tones
from its music labels and other products.

Venemobile will be helmed by
Daniel Rodriguez, a Venevision International executive who joined the company
two years ago, He previously worked at the Venevision’s parent company, the
Cisneros Group, for 12 years, and has also had experience in TV programming and
production in various Latin American countries.

"As a major diversified
entertainment company, Venevision International could hardly afford not to
participate in this market, which is a natural extension of our basic content
production and distribution business," said Luis Villanueva, the president
of Venevision International.
