Bullseye Takes on Talent TV Kids’ Reality Show

LONDON, March 20: The
British independent distributor Bullseye TV Productions has picked up the
worldwide television distribution rights, outside of the U.K, to 15 half-hour
episodes of the CBBC children’s reality series Best of Friends from producer Talent Television, for launch at
MIPTV.

In addition, format rights and
licensing and merchandising rights to
the series will also be available to buyers through Talent Television and Bullseye. The format was developed in-house at Talent
Television by Jonathan Wolfman from an original idea by Mark Robson.

The format is currently airing in rotation on the CBBC Channel and CBBC
One. To date, Talent Television has produced three seasons of the series for
the U.K, and five African specials of the format, which is targeted at
6-12-year-olds and tests the real friendships of boys and girls. Best of Friends is produced by Talent TV’s
John A. Marley and executive produced by Annie Miles, the head of Talent Kids,
and Anne Gilchrist, the creative
director for CBBC.

Tony Humphreys, the MD of Talent Television, noted: “As Best of
Friends
is one of our key brands, it was vital to choose the right partner to
take the show worldwide. Bullseye is dynamic and hungry and has been recognised
as the fastest growing distribution outfit in the U.K., so we are confident
that they will be instrumental in extending and exploiting the series to its
full potential.”
