Banff World TV Awards Deadline Extended

TORONTO, February 9: The deadline for submissions to this
year’s Banff World Television Awards (also known as the Rockies) has been
extended to February 23 following requests from prospective entrants.

“We’ve had a phenomenal response to this year’s call for
entries and want to ensure every entrant has time to submit their materials,”
said Kerry Stauffer, the director of production and program competition.

New to this year’s program competition are the Best
Telenovela/Drama Serial Program category and several expanded categories for
its Interactive Program: Best Mobile Program Enhancement Award, Best Internet
Program Enhancement Award and Best Internet Only Production Award. The Banff
World Television Awards include 21 categories covering the major program
genres. Winners will be announced at the 2007 Awards ceremony during the 28th
BWTVF, which takes place at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Canada, June
10-13.

Entry forms and the detailed regulations for the 2007 Banff
World Television Awards international program competition are available at
www.bwtvf.com. No late entries will be accepted after February 23.
