Teletoon’s Lévesque Joins 9 Story Entertainment

TORONTO, February 2: 9 Story Entertainment has named former
Teletoon executive Madeleine Lévesque to the newly created position of
executive VP of content development.

In her new role, Lévesque will
acquire new entertainment properties and lead the development effort for all of
9 Story’s proprietary properties for distribution across all platforms. Her
first projects will include 9 Story’s current 2-D digital animated properties, Almost
Naked Animals, Bash Boys and SuperEwe.
Lévesque reports to Vince Commisso, the
president and CEO of 9 Story Entertainment.

Prior to joining 9 Story,
Lévesque served as director of original productions at Teletoon Canada for ten
years, where she oversaw the production of award-winning television series for
kids and adults such as Angela Anaconda, Braceface, What's With Andy?,
6TEEN, Atomic Betty and Di-Gata. Before Teletoon, Lévesque held positions as assistant
producer and producer at SDA Productions.
