LIVINGtv Acquires Bunim-Murray Production

LONDON, January 18:
LIVINGtv has inked a deal with Bunim-Murray Productions for the rights to
Oxygen’s The Bad Girls Club for
launch in the second quarter of this year.

The Bad Girls Club is Oxygen’s highest rated premiere ever. The
ratings for the first episode in December peaked at 860,000 for women 18 to 24
and 810,000 for women 18 to 34. The 22-episode The Bad Girls Club puts seven “bad” girls in a house together.

Amy Barham, the head of
acquisitions at LIVINGtv, called the series “addictive television; something
for … all reality TV lovers. The U.S. audiences are already appreciating the
show, and it will be a real asset to our spring LIVINGtv lineup.”
