Nicktoons Series Joins iTunes Lineup

NEW YORK, October 24: Nickelodeon's 24-hour
animation channel, Nicktoons Network, has added a range of its original content
to the iTunes Store, including Skyland, which doesn’t
premiere on the network until November.

Beginning today, four episodes of Skyland
will be offered on iTunes for $1.99 each. iTunes will offer a free sneak-peek
(available for four weeks) of the premiere episode. The series launches on
Nicktoons on November 18 at 9 p.m.

Also launching in iTunes today is short-form
content from The Nicktoons Network Animation Festival, a multiplatform
animation festival that showcases independent cartoon filmmaking by animators
from around the globe. Twenty-eight compilations of approximately 180 short
films from the festival will be available for purchase at launch, including 13
compilations from the 2004 Animation Festival, eight from 2005, and seven from
2006.

"The launch of Nicktoons Network on iTunes
will allow our viewers the chance to watch many of our hit shows whenever they
want and wherever they are," said Keith Dawkins, the VP and GM of
Nicktoons Network. "We strive to provide our audiences with the
opportunity to connect with our content in many different ways, and this launch
is another step in Nicktoons Network multiplatform programming strategy."
