Setanta Slated for Freeview Rollout

LONDON, October 10: Inking a deal with Top Up TV, Setanta
Sports will be available on the British digital terrestrial platform Freeview
next year as a stand-alone subscription offering.

Freeview customers with a Top Up TV-compatible digital box
or digital TV will be able to watch live FA Premier League, Scottish Premier League,
U.S. PGA Tour Golf and other exclusive sports coverage. There will be a monthly
subscription fee for access to Setanta. The company will announce the rates
next year.

Trevor East, the director of sport at Setanta, noted, “Our
research indicates there is substantial demand for a competitively priced
premium sports service among Freeview homes.”
