History Channel in VOD Deal with BT

LONDON, October 10: Content from The History Channel in the
U.K. will be made available on an on-demand basis on BT Vision, BT’s
next-generation TV service that launches later this fall.

The channel, a joint venture of BSkyB and A&E Television
Networks, reaches more than 9 million homes in the U.K. and Ireland. The VOD
deal grants BT customers access to titles such as Engineering Disasters, Conspiracies and Deep Sea Detectives.

Announcing the deal, Sean Cohan, the VP of international
business development and digital media at AETN, noted, “AETN International is
committed to delivering compelling, branded video-on-demand experiences that
satisfy viewers' growing appetite for choice and consumption. Presenting our
content with BT's promising new service fits well with this goal.”
