Screentime Offers New Comedy Panel Show

LONDON, October 3: Topping Screentime Partners’ titles for
MIPCOM is the new comedy panel show Best of the Worst, available as both a format and as a finished
program.

The 6×23-minute show from 4DTV launched on Channel 4 last
month with host Alexander Armstrong (Armstrong and Miller, Have I Got News
For You
) and team captains David Mitchell (Peep
Show
) and Johnny Vaughan.

The aim of the game is for the team captains and their
guests to pick the worst examples from a range of categories such as Worst
Musical Instrument, Worst Way to Lose a Finger, Worst Behavior at a Funeral,
Worst Magic Trick to Go Wrong, Worst International Reality Show, Worst Album
Cover and Worst Fish. After chatting and joking about the nominations for each category,
the two teams pick their worst. If the audience agrees with them, the team
scores points.

Screentime Partners, CEO, Chris Bonney, said of the series,
“This is an original and hilarious show. We have been on the lookout for a
standout studio-based comedy format and Best of the Worst is a fantastic example of the genre. We are
delighted to have the opportunity to represent the finished show and the format
which I believe will translate well across audiences worldwide.”
