Seven Stones Soap Secures BBC Two Prime-Time Slot

LONDON, August 17: British independent Seven Stones Media has been asked by
BBC Two to create a 10×30-minute prime-time version of its daytime series Return
to Tuscany
.

The show will run in a 7 p.m. slot, beginning this fall.
Sold by BBC Worldwide, the series has secured deals in the Netherlands,
Belgium, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. It follows flamboyant chef
Giancarlo Caldesi and his partner Katie Beresford as they attempt to open a
cookery school in his native Tuscany. They also plan to wed at the Tuscan hotel
set to be the location of the school.

Adam Alexander, the director of productions at Seven Stones
Media, noted, “Return to Tuscany was
made with all the attitude and ambition of a prime-time series. Being selected
for a second showing will bring it to an entirely new audience. It’s great that
the series is getting a second airing on BBC Two, further extending our growing
relationship with the channel.”
