MTVNI Staffs Up Emerging Markets Group

LONDON, August 11: Bhavneet Singh has been promoted to
deputy general manager of MTV Networks International’s emerging markets group
in Europe, overseeing a portfolio of channels in Central and Eastern Europe and
the Middle East.

Singh will be responsible for all aspects of the business
across the MTV: Music Television, Nickelodeon and Comedy brands in Central and
Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He will focus on developing these channels
in the region and establishing them across different platforms, including
broadband and mobile. Singh will also work to spread the reach of the youth
community website Neopets.

He was previously director of international sales strategy,
working across all international markets. The new role will be based in London
and will report to Dean Possenniskie, the GM and VP of the emerging markets
group.

Singh has been with MTV Networks since 2004. Previous stints
include IMG TWI in India and Discovery Channel Asia.

MTV Emerging Markets consists of 21 channels and reaches
20.8 million households in over 25 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and
the Middle East.
