SPI International & Markíza Group Announce Partnership

SPI International has entered a partnership with Markíza Group, which will become the exclusive representative for advertising sales on FilmBox in Slovakia.

“This new partnership reflects our strategy of expanding SPI International’s advertising presence throughout the region, following the recent introduction of advertising on DIZI in Bulgaria,” said Erwan Luherne, managing director at SPI International. “With Markíza Group on board, we are confident that FilmBox will achieve even stronger visibility and commercial success in Slovakia.”

Slovakia is among the five CEE markets where SPI International operates its TV advertising business, together with Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Bulgaria. While FilmBox previously carried Czech‑language advertising in Slovakia, the company is now introducing advertising breaks localized in Slovak to better address local market needs. The FilmBox channel is available for Slovak audiences through major local operators, including Skylink, Slovak Telekom, Digi and Orange.
