Boat Rocker Rights Gears Up for MIPCOM with 2,000-Plus New Half-Hours

Boat Rocker Rights is heading to MIPCOM, where it will present its largest slate to date, featuring more than 2,000 half-hours of new kids’ and family and factual content, including Late Nite Eats.

The company’s highlights include titles from the consolidated Proper Rights catalog. Late Nite Eats follows Chef Jordan Andino as he visits various cities and tries out restaurants that reign supreme in the late-night food scene. The 13×30-minute series is produced by Crooked Horse Productions for Cooking Channel in the U.S. Another highlight for Boat Rocker Rights in the non-scripted space is History in the Making, also from Crooked Horse Productions. The 13×30-minute series demonstrates the process of recreating historical items from the past—be it a weapon, tool, machine or vehicle—using original techniques. In Reno, Set, Go!, friends and families join together to covertly make over a room for a deserving loved one. It is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment for Discovery Family U.S. and HGTV Canada.

The dark histories of prominent families that appeared to have it all are explored in Cursed Bloodlines. The 13×30-minute series looks at generations of family tragedy and misfortune that suggest that not even money or power could protect these doomed dynasties. In the kids’ and family arena, Boat Rocker Rights is offering up the 120×30-minute series Hiccup & Sneeze, about lovable forest monsters. There is also the holiday special The Great Northern Candy Drop, as well as the sixth season of The Next Step. In The Strange Chores, two teenage wannabe warrior heroes and a high-spirited ghost girl master the skills they need to replace the world’s greatest monster hunter by doing his odd supernatural chores. Other kids’ and family programs on offer from Boat Rocker Rights include Remy & Boo, Kingdom Force and The Polos.
