BT to Carry Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV

LONDON: The U.K.’s BT Vision has entered a carriage pact with Viacom International Media Networks to add Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV to its channel lineup.

Through the new agreement, BT customers can watch hit Nickelodeon shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants. Nick Jr. is set to join the BT Vision platform later this year. Comedy Central, which features popular comedies such as South Park and Friends, and MTV UK, featuring the shows Geordie Shore and The Valleys, are included as well.

Marc Watson, the chief executive of TV at BT, said: "We’re really excited about these channels coming to BT Vision—we’re certain our viewers will love them."

David Lynn, VIMN’s managing director and executive VP for the U.K., Australia and Eastern Europe and international content distribution, added: "We are delighted to be able to bring three of the world’s top entertainment channels to BT Vision viewers."
