HGTV Orders Second Season of Consumed

VANCOUVER: The HGTV reality series Consumed, produced by Paperny Entertainment, has been renewed for a second season that is set to premiere on HGTV Canada in summer 2012.

Consumed challenges Canada’s biggest pack-rat families to survive for 30 days with only the bare minimum. De-cluttering expert Jill Pollack hosts the series with handyman Darren Doyle. Filming of the new season begins in Vancouver in November.

“Part of the show’s success relates to the fact that viewers can identify with the modern problem of having too much stuff,” said Cal Shumiatcher, the executive producer of Paperny Entertainment.
