MUNICH: SevenOne International has acquired the distribution rights for the hit Shelter series What If.

What If, which debuted on 2BE in March 2011, has already been sold to RTL 4 in Netherlands and a second season has been ordered for Belgium. The series features 16 to 18 comedy sketches per episode that deal with the question “What if.” Shelter is also the creator of Benidorm Bastards, which has been sold to more than 20 countries.

Henrik Pabst, the director of international format acquisition and regional sales director of Benelux, Scandinavia and the U.K., said, "Shelter and SevenOne International have proven to be a strong team and I am very pleased we join forces again. What If is a hilarious sketch show we cannot wait to present to our buyers. Hats off to Tim and his amazing team for creating another comedy hit show."

Tim Van Aelst from Shelter added, "It is great to partner again with SevenOne International. What If is easy to adapt because it has one very solid basic idea that tickles your imagination and most of all makes you laugh! This is definitely our best show so far."
