Caracol Appoints Roberto Corrente Head of Eastern Europe & Asia

BOGOTÁ: Caracol TV Internacional has hired Roberto Corrente to lead the company’s efforts in Europe and Asia, serving the company’s clients from the offices in Spain.

“My main objective is to extend Caracol Televisión’s product in the international marketplace, in these regions where there is growth potential and guarantee our content penetration through renewed relationships with our clients, based on trust and effective solutions to their programming needs,” said Corrente.

Corrente has a degree in Human Resources from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, with a Master’s degree in audiovisual administration from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. Corrente has previously worked for Venevisión, where he was part of the executive management programming team, as well as the international acquisitions management team. He was also VP at Angel Eye Media, an audiovisual content distributor.
