BET Slates New Original Reality Show

NEW YORK: BET’s new original series is to feature the Emmy-nominated choreographer and creative director to the stars Laurieann Gibson in Born to Dance: Laurieann Gibson, debuting August 2.

The show will follow Gibson over eight weeks as she works with aspiring young dancers, unleashing on them her hottest choreography and signature tough love. The 20 young hopefuls will battle it out each week as they dance their way through a variety of creative challenges, vying for the ultimate prize of $50,000.

Born to Dance: Laurieann Gibson is produced by BET Networks with executive producers The Ted & Perry Company and Gibson herself. The show kicks off at 10 p.m. on August 2 on BET.
