Cineflix Continues to Staff Up Scripted Division

MONTREAL: Sally Catto has been hired as the executive VP for Cineflix Studios, charged with building up the scripted division in Canada, as well as developing and overseeing Canadian drama and comedy programming.

Catto will report to Glen Salzman, the CEO of Cineflix Media, and Christina Wayne, the president of Cineflix Studios. She takes up her new Vancouver-based role in September. Catto was most recently the executive director of arts and entertainment for English television at CBC. Before this she was the creative head of TV drama at CBC.

This new hire comes in the wake of Vlad Wolynetz being named president of production for Cineflix Studios and Camilla Lewis appointed as managing director of Cineflix Productions UK.
