The CW Slates New Dramas Starring Rachel Bilson, Sarah Michelle Gellar

NEW YORK: Among the new series scheduled for The CW’s fall season are the dramas Ringer, featuring Buffy alum Sarah Michelle Gellar in her return to TV, and Hart of Dixie, starring The O.C.‘s Rachel Bilson.

Hart of Dixie features Bilson as Doctor Zoe Hart, a New York City woman who finds herself practicing medicine in a small town. The show will be featured on Monday nights at 9 p.m., getting a lead in from Gossip Girl, which retains its Monday 8 p.m. time slot.

90201 moves to Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. The series will be followed by the new Sarah Michelle Gellar project Ringer. Gellar stars as a woman on the run, who assumes the identity of her twin sister.

The new reality series H8R, hosted by Mario Lopez, leads of The CW’s Wednesday night lineup. The show brings celebrities face to face with people who love to hate on them. H8R takes the 8 p.m. slot, with America’s Next Top Model featured at 9 p.m. This season of the popular modeling competition will be the first-ever all-stars edition.

The CW’s top rated show The Vampire Diaries returns in its Thursday 8 p.m. slot. The new drama The Secret Circle, from Vampire Diaries‘ Kevin Williamson, follows at 9 p.m. Based on a series of books by author L.J. Smith, The Secret Circle follows an orphaned teen who discovers that she is a witch.

Friday’s see Nikita moving to 8 p.m. and Supernatural at 9 p.m. One Tree Hill will return for its final edition in midseason, alongside two new reality series, Re-Modeled and The Frame.
