TEL AVIV: The CW has commissioned a full series of Armoza Formats’ The Frame to be produced for the U.S. by Shed Media.

This is Armoza’s second format to land in the U.S. market this year, following Still Standing getting a straight-to-series deal with NBC. Both formats were created by July-August Productions.

The Frame is a cross-platform reality format designed to air on prime-time TV alongside 24-hour online and mobile streaming. The format sees eight pairs of contestants from around the country have their living space reduced to a singe camera frame, where they will live for the duration of the show. The only rule of the show is: If you’re out of the frame, you’re out of the game.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, "One of our strategic company goals has been to penetrate the U.S. market, and this year we’ve met that target with two consecutive commission deals, one with NBC and now with The CW. We are proud to be pioneers in identifying the best of Israeli creativity and introducing it to the international TV community."
