Written in the Stars Expands Presence

SÃO PAULO: The Globo TV International telenovela Written in the Stars is set to be broadcast this month in Canada on OMNI, as well as launch in Costa Rica on Teletica.

The series, which will also air in Nicaragua on TVC Televicentro in October, follows a simple girl who lives in a favela in Rio de Janiero; her life is turned upside down when she meets a rich boy who dies yet continues to love her after death. Written in the Stars has already been sold to Ecuador, Chile, El Salvador, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Cuba, Argentina and Portugal.
