Studio100 3D Classics Get ORF Pickup

MUNICH: The newly remastered 3D versions of Maya the Bee and Vicky the Viking have been sold by Studio100 to Austrian pubcaster ORF.

Finalized at MIPTV, the deal grants ORF the exclusive free-TV and German-language rights for Austria for the two classic animation properties. The 78×11-minute Maya the Bee and the 78×11-minute Vicky the Viking have both been revamped as 3D properties. The series will be available for delivery at the end of 2012 and the end of 2013, respectively. The remastered animations will be produced by Studio100 Animation in association with TF1 and ZDF.
