CCI Highlights Home-Entertainment Slate

TORONTO: CCI Releasing has picked up four new HD, factual home-improvement series that are on offer at MIPTV, including Making House and Candice Tells All.

The 13×30-minute series Making House centers on an interior designer and contractor who, after ten years, three kids and ten houses, are ready to create their dream home. The series comes from General Purpose Pictures.
 
In the 13×30-minute Home Wreckers, contractor, plumber and mother of two Kristi Hansen teaches homeowners her version of home maintenance. The show comes from Fusion Television.
 
Meanwhile, 26×30-minute Candice Tells All features interior designer Candice Olson offering her design process and inspiration, while also exploring modern design and meeting industry insiders. The series also comes from Fusion Television.
 
Rounding out the roster, the 208×30-minute This Old House is the number one rated home improvement series on TV, having won 17 Emmy Awards. The PBS prime-time show features the series’ famous team of renovation experts.
 
“These series are fresh with a mainstream appeal,” said Jill Keenleyside, the executive VP of distribution at CCI. “All of the new titles bring a unique perspective to the home improvement and design genre, and come together to create a wide-ranged selection for broadcasters.”
