More Strawberry Shortcake for The Hub

NEW YORK: The Hub has picked up an additional 13 episodes of the CGI animated series Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures for a second set to debut this fall.

The series debuted last fall on The Hub and ranked number one for girls 2 to 5. The new episodes will continue to showcase Strawberry Shortcake and her five best friends as well as welcome a new character into the group for the first time in more than five years. Strawberry Shortcake recently celebrated her 30th anniversary.

“We’re thrilled that a new generation of kids have embraced the engaging world of Strawberry Shortcake through Berry Bitty Adventures,” said Sarah Finn, the VP of production. “It reinforces the enduring appeal of the character and her wholesome messages. The new season will continue to present the fun-loving adventures of Strawberry and her friends, with music playing as a central theme. To that end, we will be introducing a special new character that Strawberry’s fans are going to fall in love with.”
