Hot Docs to Feature Nine Delegations

TORONTO: Hot Docs is set to host official delegations from Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, the Nordic region, South Africa, the U.K. and the U.S. at this year’s edition.

Hot Docs takes place April 28 to May 8. The delegations will take part in a number of professional development sessions, market events and services and networking opportunities, and will also be featured participants at this year’s International Co-Production Day. Taking place May 2, the day-long series features presentations, targeted one-on-one meetings and social events aimed at spurring international co-pros.

Brazil’s official delegation is led by Terra Brasilis Filmes. China’s official delegation is led by iDocs. France’s official delegation is led by the French Trade Commission and the French Image cluster Iconoval. Germany’s official delegation is led by AG DOK. Italy’s official delegation is led by the Italian Trade Commission and Doc/It. The Nordic region official delegation is led by Filmkontakt Nord. South Africa’s official delegation is led by the Documentary Filmmakers Association. The U.K. official delegation is led by Interdoc and Sheffield Doc/Fest. The U.S. official delegation is led by IFP and Shooting People.
