Moonscoop Lands L&M Partners on Hero:108

PARIS: A host of new licensees in France have signed up for Moonscoop’s comedic action-adventure series Hero:108, which is currently in production for its second season.

This includes a pan-European deal for costumes with Cesar and for France apparel with Blues Fillobranca. Maroquinerie Luc d’Arvillers is on board for back-to-school bags; skates and inline rollers for D’Arpege; and costumed characters with Evasion Communication. Licensees already in the mix include Playmates for worldwide master toy (distributed by Giochi Preziosi in France, Spain and Italy), Atlantyca Entertainment for worldwide publishing and Mad Engine for T-shirts in the U.S. and Canada, among others.

Brigitte Legendre-Benloulou, the director of consumer products at Moonscoop, said: “Following a strong launch last year across both TV and gaming, consumer-products activity on Hero:108 is gaining even more momentum in 2011 and will be boosted by the launch of the second season. We already have some strong partners in place and welcome our new licensees in France and across Europe as we aim to further expand the presence of the brand this year.”
