Star Talent Signs Up for New HBO Film

NEW YORK: A number of new stars have been added to the cast of HBO Films’ Too Big To Fail, including Ed Asner, Paul Giamatti, Cynthia Nixon and Tony Shalhoub.

Additional cast members include Ayad Akhtar, Kathy Baker, Billy Crudup, Topher Grace, Dan Hedaya, Michael O’Keefe, Joey Slotnick and James Woods. They join William Hurt, who was previously announced to play U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. The movie is based on Andrew Ross Sorkin’s book of the same name. Sorkin serves as a consultant on the project. The movie will take a look at the financial crisis of 2008 and the powerful men and women who decided the fate of the world’s economy.
