TORONTO: At this year’s MIP Junior, 9 Story Entertainment is to screen the first five completed episodes of the new kids’ factual series Making Stuff, which is slated to air on TVOntario, TFO and Knowledge Network this fall.

Making Stuff follows the adventures of the animated host Gears, who is made out of spare parts from the factory floor, along with his animate friend Wiz, who has X-ray vision and helps children understand the inner-workings of things. The 52×5-minute show is targeted at the 4-to-7 demographic and is shot in HD. 9 Story will be showcasing the series in association with Loten Media, producer of the hit show Mighty Machines.

“This wonderful new factual series is a terrific complement to our growing catalog of innovative new programming for children,” said Vince Commisso, the CEO of 9 Story. “We look forward to entertaining children around the globe with this unique, informative series hosted by appealing characters that show kids the real-life world of manufacturing products for the worldwide marketplace.”
