ZDF Enterprises Re-Teams with Jonathan Shiff for New Series

MELBOURNE/MAINZ: ZDF Enterprises and Jonathan M. Shiff Productions have announced a new flagship children’s series, Lightning Point.

The pair of companies have worked together before on H20: Just Add Water and The Elephant Princess. The new series Lighting Point is to be produced in association with German pubcaster ZDF, Network Ten in Australia and Nickelodeon Australia, with investment from Screen Australia and Screen Queensland. The story follows Zoey and Kiki, two girls from another galaxy who become castaways in a quiet Australian seaside town. The recruit local girl Amber to help keep them undercover.

Filming will begin on November 8. ZDF Enterprises will handle worldwide distribution for the show.
