ID Highlights Fall Lineup

SILVER SPRING: A host of new series and specials have been scheduled for the fall lineup of Investigation Discovery, including Hardcover Mysteries and The Will: Family Secrets Revealed.

The new series Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry? kicks off August 25. The show will look at couples where one spouse has hidden a shocking secret. Hardcover Mysteries premieres on October 11. The series will feature authors discussing the real-life cases that have compelled their fictional stories. On November 3, The Will: Family Secrets Revealed launches with its debut episode. This will feature the final wishes of the deceased as they are revealed to family members left behind.

Returning series include Disappeared, launching into its second season on October 4; Cold Blood, which heads into its third run on October 19; and Main Street Mysteries, with season two to debut on October 22. A second installment of I (Almost) Got Away With It launches on October 26, while On the Case With Paula Zahn heads back to the ID lineup for a third run on November 7.

New specials slated for the ID Investigates strand include Why Is Bin Laden Laden Alive?, which takes an in-depth look at a man who has evaded capture for nine years. For the Love of Money tells of the financial meltdown at Lehman Brothers.

Debuting in August, ID Films will showcase independent doc filmmakers. The lineup includes Cropsey: The Urban Legend, which makes its worldwide TV premiere on August 13, and Final Judgment, with its global TV debut slated for October 8.

Further specials on the ID lineup include the three-parter American Occult, debuting on October 31, and Face to Face with Candice Delong (working title), to premiere November 25 and follow on November 26. The latter will be featured as part of ID’s annual Black Widow Week

Ongoing series include 48 Hours on ID, 60 Minutes on ID, Dateline on ID, Chasing Justice with Dan Abrams, Wicked Attraction and Deadly Women.
