Hallmark Channel Launches in HD on Sky

LONDON: Adding to Sky’s roster of high-definition services, Hallmark Channel HD has launched on the U.K. platform with a lineup that includes CSI: NY, Law & Order: SVU and Without a Trace.

Further on the channel is Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as upcoming seasons of House and The Mentalist. Hallmark Channel HD will also feature Rookie Blue, which launches in October. This marks the 45th HD channel to be available on the Sky platform.

Laurence Dawkin-Jones, the managing director for the U.K. at Universal Networks International, which operates the Hallmark Channel outside the U.S., said: "Hallmark Channel has a huge number of loyal viewers and I’m delighted that we can now deliver their favorite U.S. shows like the Law & Order titles, CSI and Without a Trace in high definition to really maximize their enjoyment.

"The launch of Hallmark Channel HD is another important step in our ongoing international channels expansion strategy," he added.
