W Network Unveils New Original Series

BANFF: Canada’s W Network has a slate of nine new original series in production for its fall and winter schedules, among them Come Dine With Me Canada.

For the fall, series in production include All for Nothing, which follows two different homeowners who are hoping to sell their properties that are in need of some design improvements. Inside the Box with Ty Pennington features the popular home-improving host as he puts people who think they know all about interior design to the test. Burn My Mortgage helps families knock years and tens of thousands of dollars off their mortgages. There’s also the Canadian version of Come Dine With Me, which follows five amateur chefs as the compete for the title of ultimate dinner-party host. In Grin and Build It!, couples are challenged to have the not-so-handy partner take on a renovation, while the handier person watches from the sidelines.

On the schedule for winter, Candice Tells All features designer Candice Olson (Divine Design) on a mission to reveal the secrets of timeless design principles. Homewreckers watches expert contractor Kristi Hansen work with homeowners to uncover unseen problems in order to save their homes. Property Brothers features real-estate agent Drew Scott and his contractor brother Jonathan Scott, who set out to turn fixer-uppers into buyers’ dream homes. Also featuring family members, Sibling Rivalry (working title) follows 30-something twins who take friendly competition to the next level as they flip houses.

The nine new original series join three returning series with new seasons: Anna & Kristina’s Grocery Bag, Colour Confidential and Love It or List It.
